1. Who we are
AutoToolsUK is a trading name operated by Wizz's Wraps Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12825312. Our registered office is 87–89 Waterloo Road, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST6 2EN, England. Our trading address is 31A Parsonage Street, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 5HL, England. Contact us at hello@autotoolsuk.co.uk.
2. What AutoToolsUK does
We provide automotive information, planning-price tools, a garage directory and a service that can send one structured request to relevant garages. Unless we expressly say otherwise, AutoToolsUK is an independent intermediary: we do not inspect vehicles, diagnose faults, carry out repairs or employ the listed garages.
The contract for inspection, repair, recovery, servicing or other garage work is between the driver and the selected garage. A request is not a booking, and a garage response is not confirmed availability until the garage confirms it.
3. Driver requests
- You must provide accurate vehicle, contact, location and job information and be at least 18.
- You authorise us to share the job details needed for matching and quoting with relevant garages. We do not release your direct contact details during competitive quoting; they are released to the selected garage when needed to confirm the booking.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading or third-party personal information without authority.
- Submitting a request does not guarantee a response, a particular number of quotes, a saving, availability or completion by a requested date.
4. Quotes, estimates and prices
Calculator outputs and directory prices are non-binding planning estimates, not professional inspections or garage quotations. The assumptions and limitations shown beside a result form part of that result.
A garage must state whether its response is a fixed quote or an estimate subject to inspection. Drivers should confirm the work, parts, labour, VAT, call-out charges, diagnostics, disposal, collection, calibration, exclusions, warranty, validity and approval process for additional work before booking. “Lowest price”, “nearest” and “earliest” labels compare only the active responses returned for that request; they are not whole-market claims.
5. Bookings, payment, cancellation and complaints
AutoToolsUK does not currently take payment for garage work. Payment terms, cancellation rights, deposits, refunds and the performance of the work are agreed directly with the garage. The garage must provide any legally required pre-contract information and perform consumer services with reasonable care and skill.
Raise service or payment complaints with the garage first. We can provide platform records and investigate misuse of AutoToolsUK, but we cannot determine technical liability or compel a refund. Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights.
6. Garage and provider obligations
- You confirm you have authority to represent the garage and that submitted identity, contact, service-area and capability information is accurate.
- Quotes must be genuine, current and sufficiently itemised. Consumer-facing prices must include VAT and unavoidable charges where applicable, or prominently explain charges that cannot be calculated in advance.
- You must hold the licences, insurance, qualifications and equipment required for the work and comply with consumer, safety, advertising, data-protection and tax law.
- Customer data may be used only to answer the request and perform the resulting booking. It must not be added to unrelated marketing lists without a separate lawful basis and any consent required by PECR.
- We may correct, suspend or remove listings and access where information is unverified, misleading, unsafe, unlawful or harmful to users.
7. Directory and third-party content
Some listing information comes from garages, public business sources or third-party websites. We take reasonable steps to present it accurately but opening hours, prices, services, ratings and contact details can change. Verify material details directly. Links, maps, videos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and do not imply endorsement.
8. Safety and permitted use
Do not rely on the site for emergency or roadworthiness decisions. If there is danger, injury, smoke, fire, leaking fuel, damaged steering or brakes, warning lights, structural impact damage or a vehicle stopped in a dangerous position, follow official emergency guidance and contact an appropriate professional.
You may not scrape the service at scale, bypass access controls, interfere with security, impersonate another person, submit false requests or use private quote links belonging to someone else.
9. Intellectual property
Our brand, interface, original copy, software and compiled data are protected by intellectual-property law. You may use the site for personal or internal business purposes, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit a substantial part without written permission.
10. Responsibility
We do not exclude liability where the law does not permit it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory rights that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill in providing the platform, but not for garage workmanship, independent garage statements, vehicle defects, or losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by a user or provider.
Business users are responsible for losses arising from their breach of these terms and should maintain appropriate insurance.
11. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms prospectively. Material changes affecting an active request will not be applied unfairly or retrospectively. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in the part of the UK where they live.
